The Preschool section is specifically geared and tailored to the needs and requirements of the preschooler finding him or herself in the new millennium.
This forms the interim stepping stone for each and every young gymnast. In this section the gymnast receives the necessary knowledge and skills required to enter a more competitive and also more demanding level of participation. A limited number of skills is tough here, rather the emphasis is on ensuring a good foundation of overall physical and mental development.
This is the first level of competitive Gymnastics, although participation in a actual competition is not compulsory. This section is based on the Levels Programme of the South African Gymnastics Federation for both boys and girls.
This covers the Levels 3 through to Levels 5 of the Men and Women's Levels Programmes respectively. Here the gymnast usually has been actively involved in the sport for a minimum of three years, whilst steadily progressing through the various stages and levels.
The Advance Section is the turning point where the gymnast enters the realm of high level Gymnastics. This is where a gymnast has to show his or her skills acquired over the years in a highly competitive arena and constantly vie for a place in Provincial and National teams.
